  4.     Few things symbolized the high-flying empire of Donald Trump
  5. better than the northeastern shuttle that bears his name. Last
  6. week USAir reached a deal to fly and possibly purchase the
  7. airline. "I loved it," confesses Trump about his airline. "But
  8. the world's changed a lot. We're absolutely in a depression."
  9. Trump had stopped making interest payments on the shuttle, which
  10. he bought in 1989. As a result, bankers have been trying to find
  11. someone else to operate it. While details of the deal still need
  12. to be pounded out, Trump can at least look forward to some
  13. freedom from creditors. Says he: "The deal gets me out of $360
  14. million in debt, which is fabulous."
